Painted buildings are factory spray painted in the colour of your choice. Initially sprayed with a knot inhibiting primer paint, the two coats of your chosen colour. A full colour chart is available to see at your local agents. The printed images in the brochure do not truly represent the colour, therefore we advise the you visit your agent to see samples in person. If you don’t have a local agent we can send you small samples. Although we use the knot inhibitor primer this does not guarantee that the resin will not seep from the knots causing discolouration. This is a natural phenomenon and cannot be avoided despite what you might read on various websites. We require at least 8’ (2.43m) clearance for the sections to be delivered to the chosen site, however if this is a problem please discuss it with your agent. In many cases we are able to overcome this by making the building in smaller sections – additional charges will apply.
What Type of Base Do I Need?
The base must be a solid, flat and level and of sufficient size. We have multiple base options available for all our buildings, Including Megasheds Galvanised Steel Bases, Timber Framed Bases and we also offer a Concrete base service. It’s Important to consider roof overhangs and the space needed for maintenance and installation of your garden building.

Do You Have Display Sites?
Yes Megasheds have over 140 buildings on display at locations in Chester & North Wales open 7 days a week. Please contact us to make an appointment prior to visiting.

Do I Have to Maintain My Building?
Most buildings require regular maintenance although we now have a wide choice of composite & maintenance free buildings available.
What Access Do I Need?
For Buildings Larger than 8’x 8′ we usually need clear access to the height of 8′ (2.4m) from where the delivery vehicle is parked to the base. Our galvanised steel Megabases is manufactured from smaller sections these can fit through a gate or door way.
What if I Don’t Have the Eight Feet (2.4m) Clearance in Height for Access?
Please contact us to discuss if you’re concerned about this as we can build our buildings in smaller sections if required although there may be a charge for this.
